Calder Clarion Forum
 

 
Calder Clarion Cycling Club is based in Wakefield,
West Yorkshire and caters for all ages and abilities.
It is part of the National Clarion Organisation.

Calder Clarion's activities include time trials,road races, hill climbs, cyclo-cross, audax, touring
and holding social events

'Club runs' for men and women of all abilities
are held on Sundays year round.

The 'Calder' organises a popular annual cycling
week abroad (last year to Italy). These
combine training, touring and socialising.

The club room is open 7 pm every Wednesday
evening at Ossett Town Football Club
members range in age from 7 to their 80s

Calder's Summer short tour, was later this year,
coinciding with the Tour of Britain's stage finish
in Dalby Forest in September.

13 riders stayed in Flanders to ride part of the Tour of Flanders Sportiv on the of April and then watch the Classic Race the following day. 13 however proved to be an unlucky number. Read about the event here

Sunday Club Runs

These begin from a variety of start points around the
Wakefield Area and are held every Sunday, usually
starting at 9am.
