Calder
Clarion History (Cyclo Cross)
and white photographs from the 1974 Calder Cross which in
those days was held on Heath Common. He found they
showed several of the club 'stalwarts' (although for some
reason Steve Burton and Pete Milsom are not there) in
action.
Paul has kindly sent them along to us to display in the
History Section of the Club Web Site. The Photograph's
feature Dougie Dunbar, Jim Blankley, George Masson,
Harry Machin and George Gilliland ( In 1974 George G
was newly arrived in Yorkshire from his native Putney
where he was a member of the now defunct West London Clarion.
