Woolley Edge Hill Climb Location
Calder Clarion's Annual Open Hill Climb Event is held
on the 1100 metre Woolley Edge Climb (Dennington
Lane which changes to Woolley Low Moor Lane). Average Gradient 7%, max 18% for 170 metres.

Directions:
From Crigglestone High Street, head south towards
West Bretton. At foot of hill as you leave
Crigglestone, turn left just before Station Inn which
is back from the road, onto Dennington Lane.
Pass over the M1 and through traffic lights to reach
the start. The Finish is 1100 metres further on up
the hill. (Car Park at the top).

If you leave the A636 Denby Dale Road on 'Branch
Road', pass Blacker Hall Farm (farm shop) and go
left at the junction. After crossing over the railway
line take the first right (Dennington Lane) after the
Station Inn. Pass over the M1 and pass the traffic
lights to reach the start. The Finish is 1100 metres
further on up the hill, almost at the top.
