February at the Dimple Wells Lodge, Ossett, ably organized by
Jean Burton. The biggest turnout for years enjoyed a riveting
explanation of the Sturgess Trophy by George Masson who also
read Jean Hall's poem, 'The Clarion Riders Creed'

2005 social events included a successful, well attended
Christmas 'Fuddle' at the club room, Ossett. Social sec Jean Burton
thanks all who brought raffle prizes along and those who purchased
tickets. Evelyn Howard's support was particularly appreciated as
husband Pete was in hospital at the time.
Boxing
Day and New Year
There
was a club run on Boxing day to Holmfirth, with a
get together at Boon's Pub in Horbury later. The ride attracted 21
despite cool, grey conditions.
The New Years Day, 5 mile TT on Heath Common followed by
breakfast at Lesley and George Gillilands home in Crigglestone
proved very popular again. Later there was a roundezvous at
Boon's pub in Horbury.
