The
Club Combined Standard Competition is an integrated, age-based competition
in which cyclists aim to beat time or speed targets in defined events
to gain gold, silver or bronze standards and also points. Some defined
events have speed or time targets depending on age and sex and others
simply
require that you complete an event to qualify for a standard. A riders
best three performances from the defined events establish whether a
gold, silver or bronze medal is attained.
The10
defined Competitions are;
Fastest '10' time (in any event, club or open, on a recognised CTT
course)
Fastest '25' time (in any event, club or open, on a recognised CTT
course)
Fastest '50' time (in any event, club or open, on a recognised CTT
course)
60 mile+ sportive, ,
standards determined by average speed
100 mile+ sportive, standards determined by average
speed
Audax events. Standard established by completing events according
to the distance required depending on age & sex
Club Hill Climb time.
Club Runs Some longer club runs specified annually to achieve standards.
Calder C2C
MTB Endurance, events standards achieved by completing events of
specified distances.
