Wakefield to Belgium

There were 11 on another enjoyable trip to the
Tour of Flanders on the first weekend in April.

The group enjoyed a taster of the Sportiv on the saturday
followed by lots of the fabled Belgian Beers, then, on the
big day, which was warm and dry, there was a bonus in
the form of the Women's elite race. Nicol Cooke was away
on her own when she passed, giving the lads something to
get excited about and forget the hangovers.

After the men's race passed, the group found a Beer tent
full of Belgian fans, who lifted the canvas roof when their man,
Tom Boonen took the race.
