New Year'sday triumph on the testing Heath Common course.
With still conditions and temperatures hovering arounf freezing,
the Calder Clarion rider clocked 14:15, 55 seconds clear of
2nd placed D Hart of Leeds based Yorkshire Velo. Calder's
Martin Price filled 3rd spot with a 15.53.
First man off was 76 year old George Masson and he rode
with his usual enthusiasm, but just failed to beat Pontefract
CC's Ian Graham by 3 seconds with a 20.51.
