18:00 for 18:15 start until 19:30.

encourage youngsters onto bikes – for leisure,
pleasure and sport.

experienced, qualified coaches who teach a variety
of riding skills through fun activities; suitable for
beginners and experienced young riders.

  Parents and friends who wish to try cycling can join a group on a steady ride on the adjacent   Sustrans Trans Pennine Trail to Walton Nature Park whilst the Go-ride sessions are underway.

St Thomas a Beckett College Barnsley Road, Sandal, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF2 6EQ

The college is situated on Barnsley Road (A61). From the South leave the M1 at Junction 39 and
head towards Wakefield, follow signs for Sandal.

From the North leave the M1 at Junction 41, head towards the centre of Wakefield and then follow
signs for Barnsley (A61). The visitor's car park is situated at the back of the school with a ccess from

Go-ride Background Info

Over 250 clubs have now signed up to
as British Cycling looks to
develop its plan to integrate club
development and structured coaching
activities for young people into a single,
recognisable programme.

Go-ride clubs implement best practice
and provide something for everyone.
They offer opportunities to ride,
regardless of ability. There are opportunities
to volunteer too.

Calder Clarion is part of this growing
network, which encourages young people
to take up sport and improve their sporting

Calder Clarion
is a welcoming,
inclusive cycling organisation striving to be
"A Club for All". It offers safe, child-friendly,
coaching and competition.

The Club receives assistance from Regional
Development Managers and
Go-ride Coaches.
